About me
Chris Preston has been playing music his whole life. Ok, he took the first 5 years off, but after that his Mom put him in piano lessons. For 9 years he played piano everyday…and hated it (sorry Mom). Unbeknownst to young Chris however, this would form the foundation of his lifelong passion for playing and listening to music.
As a teen Chris taught himself to play the guitar and bass so he could rip his jeans and play in rock bands. He took about 10 years off playing the piano, but came back to it on his own terms after falling in love with artists like Laura Nyro, Oscar Peterson and Ben Folds Five.
